CNW in Black & White
This was C&NW Weekend at the Illinois Railway Museum, where all the C&NW locomotives on museum property were given a chance to run trains on the mainline. The museum also hosted the C&NW Historical Society as part of its annual convention, and Union Pacific even sent UP 1995 for display!
Though CRIP 4506 looks like a Rock Island unit, today it is "patched" as CNW 4160, recalling the times when C&NW acquired old equipment from the Rock Island. Here it is pulling back into the station with the coach train, passing one of the vintage dwarf signals in the process.
