KCS 3903 & the Ballast Train

A pair of KCS SD70MACs, led by KCS 3903, leads a short ballast train around the curve under the I-90 overpass in Des Plaines, IL, seen here approaching Mt. Prospect Road.

 

I would've preferred to have shot this on the north side of the tracks with the existing light, but an untimely arrival of CPKC 255 put an end to that idea.
