A Glistening Feather
On days like today, I'm actually glad it's raining!
UP 1983, Union Pacific's Western Pacific heritage unit, leads MNPPR east over Harmon Road, just east of Nelson, IL. The locomotive was painted recently and looks great in the rain! (Sounds great too.)
The unit is on its way to Chicagoland where it will join UP 1982 for the Rochelle Railfan Appreciation Days.
