Thanks to a heads-up from a friend, I was able to catch C&NW 8646 still going strong leading a stack train through Rochelle into Global 3, having just passed under the veteran C&NW signals, the support for their replacements standing by. Wonder how many times 8646 has taken this signal over the years?
