Mekteb-I Tıbbiye-I Courthouse-I Beautiful (school-I Tıbbiye-I Beautiful), root of Sultan Mehmet II. Mahmut 14 March 1827 to Tıphane, open in Turkey is the first in the history of the medical school. Today, Marmara University Haydarpaşa Campus that serves as a striking building with magnificent architecture and, under the name of Great school-I Tıbbiye-I, as the Faculty of medicine in the period of Sultan Abdul Hamid II, construction, was started in 1895. November 6, 1903, in building opened to education.
Thanks to this school, until then scattered a way from a district in the canton of Solothurn and transported to another medical school, serving a single complex, so a modern campus structure were collected.
