Pilgrims, Lhasa 1987

Pilgrims on the Barkhor circuit around the Jokhang Temple in Lhasa. Most simply walk, many carry prayer wheels and beads, and some prostrate themselves, by diving, one body-length at a time for hours a day. Nikon FM 2, Kodak Gold 100 film. Negative photgraphed with Fujifilm X-T1 and MCEX 16 extension tube. Reversal and processing in Lightroom.
