Mpya Wahaya was established in 1936, having been bought off of Yuropean colonial powers as repossessions in exchange for their ever-growing agricultural debts. Economic and Industrial centers built-up enough to maintain a self-sustaining populace, little Mukhutu financial intervention was necessary. With no lack of funds from the Yuropean food export, Mansa Maliki designated it an Empirate, and soon after mass labour influxes of the lower castes in Mukhutu society swamped Mpya Wahaya. However, they were not there to take over the natives' or colonizers' existing jobs- they were heading inland, towards the uninhabitable lands.
Unlike how undesirables and criminals were historically exported to Falaïse and the Tanzimat Empire, all those emigrating to Mpya Wahaya were free men- labourers, craftsmen, engineers. Armies' worth of soldiers would accompany them, ready to defend their march into the centre of Bistralis and garrison the mining towns set up in the vast, harsh scrubland wastes of inner Bistralis.
Magicks have always been present on Erf, but in the first half of the 20th century they were nowhere more concentrated than in the once-heartland of the Ordenric's Bistralian interdimensional empire. The Sea of Woe, so-called for its Dæmonic infestation and frequent Wearpstorms, was the centre of this. However, the Mukhutu Mujahideen Armies were not here to vanquish demons, even if Allah willed it so. They were here for one thing, and that alone-
