Twenty Years of Virginia Archives Month!

Archives Month 2022 arrives in October, and with it comes the 20th anniversary of Archives Month in Virginia! Who would have guessed that little ol’ Archives Week back in 2002 would have turned into a month-long celebration? To acknowledge this milestone, this year's theme is Twenty Years of Virginia Archives Month, so let’s celebrate two decades of celebrating! Submissions by participants include images showing Virginia Archives Month celebrations, commemorations, and events from the past, as well as images showing staff and users engaging with (or creating) archival materials.
