NYC Garbage Train 01
This is my design for a fairly typical New York Subway garbage train, posed on a representative section of subway track. These trains travel the network during the quieter hours, stopping at stations so that their crews can swap out full garbage bins for empty ones and then haul the trash away for disposal.
The formation of these trains can vary widely, but typically there will be two or three R58 garbage flat wagons between motor cars of some type. The city did order some specific refuse motors, but these are not always popular with crews due to the lack of air conditioning and so are often swapped for passenger cars.
