This is a Stud.io render of a model Stadler Flirt UK regional train, specifically a Class 231 as built for Transport for Wales. These brand new trains are only now starting to enter limited passenger service with the operator.
That said, this model is already around 7 months old, having been the project that I had been working on at the point where I broke off to participate in the 2022 edition of the OcTRAINber contest. I haven't been back to the model since and may never get around to building it for real, so I am sharing this now as a virtual MOC only.
