Apologies for the quality of the video. Unlike the SBrick app, the Powered Up app doesn't have a "set and forget" feature, which means that I've had to resurrect an ancient digital camera to record this video.
This is my English Electric GT3 which has been reworked for differential drive. This loco uses a pair of L motors for drive which means that I can take advantage of the in-built speed/angle sensor when programming in the app.
The final gear ratio for this model is now 1:2 which means that it is faster than before, especially as it uses XL drivers. However, there is still good slow speed control. This video shows the model accelerating slowly up to full speed and then slowing to a stop.
