Quite by accident the large size of the model roughly equates to a scale of 1:42, which is almost identical to UK O Scale. This allowed me to take advantage of the excellent range of O Scale waterslide transfers rather than having to create my own graphics. I have even been able to grace the model with etched nameplates and builder's plate.
