The Dufourspitze (on the right) and the Nordend (on the left) are the highest peaks of Switzerland and the 3rd and 4th highest peaks of the Alps after the Mont Blanc and the Mont Blanc de Courmayeur. They are separated by the Silbersattel, from where the Monte Rosa Gletscher runs down to the Gornergletscher.
