Dammastock

The Dammastock (3630 m, center) is the highest summit of Kanton Uri, and is located at the border between Uri and Wallis above the Rhonegletscher, the glacier that gives rise to the Rhone river behind the ridge, and the Dammagletscher. Other notable summits along this massive ridge are the Tiefenstock (3515 m), the Rhonestock (3589 m) and the Eggstock (3556 m).
