The waterfall Múlafossur in Gásadalur, Faroe Islands

Not far from the village of Gásadalur, the water of the Múlafossur falls breathtakingly deep down the cliffs into the open sea. No matter what the weather, this place seems a bit mystical. I'm lucky: the rain has stopped in time, isolated sunbeams penetrate through the clouds and I can admire the scene in full beauty - with the waterfall in front, the village embedded in the meadows above and the mountain Heinanøva in the background. A perfect postcard motif.
