The names of local destinations were used to ornament the ceiling borders in the booking hall of Sao Bento station in Porto - with some being rather more obvious than others.
"DOVRO" can readily be understood as "Douro" - the city's vital river, down which port barges carried their precious cargoes - but no map bears any trace of "OHNIW", and reading it backwards may well confuse matters....
