Alexandra Bridge

If your wondering what the bridge deck is made of the answer is steel grating you can see through it to the ground and river below.
There have been two bridges on this site the first was constructed in 1863 as a wagon bridge the second bridge seen here is a steel suspension bridge completed in 1926 as a part of the Cariboo highway.
The old section of highway that connects to this bridge is no longer accessible, as a result this bridge leads literally no where whats left of the old highway has disappeared into the forest.
