"False Innocence" (Ruby-throated Hummingbird)
Sure, Buzz may look like the epitome of benevolence, but don't underestimate the behavior of this little guy. Much like a larger predatory animal, he simply lies in wait for another hummer hoping to get a nice sugary meal to show up, and then he gathers all the rage you can pack into a feisty, 3½ gram bird and turns it onto the unfortunate other hummingbird who just happens to be in the right place at the wrong time. I've seen some pretty scary beak stabs from the bird, and most of them niches from my face. You can tell it's bad when I still jump at the viciousness, even though I'm more than one thousand times his size.
