gourd stem

my wife got some small gourds to decorate our dining table for Thanksgiving but then our dinner plans were spoiled by illness in the family. This was the back-up plan which we went to after the original plan was cancelled due to covid-19. So it was a very quiet, somewhat lonely Thanksgiving weekend. We gave thanks for the fact that nobody in our family who got sick was seriously ill.
