Salem memorial bench.
In Salem Mass, sitting at my ancestors memorial bench. Susannah Martin who
Died in the witch hysteria in 1692. At the Peabody museum I found her court documents under glass, preserved. Descriptions of Susannah say she was short, slighty plump, active and of "remarkable personal neatness." She was also said to be very outspoken, contemptuous of authority and defiant in the face of slander which had followed her for years. Hmm..Sounds familiar.
