Reach...

I think that the studium of this photo is the idea of lonliness. The guy in the bed looks like he is in a hospital bed. He looks so looks so lonly and helpless. However, the shadow of his hand makes it appear that something is reaching back for his hand. For me, this means hope. This photo doesn't shw helplessness, there is chance and hope that he wwill be okay. The shadow is reaching for him so that he is not truely alone. The punctum reveals that underneath everything, no matter what, there is always hope eve if you have to look in the shadows.
