37109 - East Lancs Railway - Burrs Halt.

Under the watchful eye of Peel tower on the first day of running in her new livery of Trainload Metals, 37109 leaves Burrs cutting and approaches Burrs Country Park Halt heading back towards Bury/Heywood.

She’s heading the 13:55 Rawtenstall - Bury/Heywood on Saturday 13th May 2023.

When she first arrived at the ELR in 2008 she carried the full EWS maroon livery. She worked almost straight away at the July 2008 diesel gala. After about 18 months she carried BR Blue.

After this I decided to drive back to Acton Bridge but never made it as my fan belt snapped on the motorway. A flat back recovery vehicle ensured I got home but I never got any more shots.
