An increase in traffic between the quarries at Tunstead/Hindlow and the West Midlands in connection with the HS2 project has meant additional freight services across the Mid-Cheshire lines.
On Wednesday 9th March, 66775 “HMS Argyll” complete with F231 decals (denoting the type 23 frigate she’s named after) is in charge of 4H89 05:45 Bescot Down Sdgs - Hindlow stone empties past Plumley Signalbox.
