Mandarin Drake

(Aix galericulata) is a perching duck species native to East Asia. Specimens frequently escape from collections, and in the 20th century, a large, feral population was established in Great Britain. This male is one of several that have made a home on Whiteknights lake, on the Campus of The University of Reading, Berkshire, England.
