Lesson 1-8: Watercolour swatches
I learned a lot from this exercise as I'm so new to watercolour paints and the nature of pigments. I was struck by two things; one is the intensity of the pigments which I suppose is linked with buying what I understand to be good quality paints. The other is the immense range of shades of the way through the mixing. On the grid, some mixes in one direction look different from the same blend in another direction.
I guess some things can never be repeated exactly.
