A noisey little gregarious duck

Fast on the wing and that is amusing to watch going about their business

Old time Duck hunters called them " Spoonies " on account of their large bills.

I have watched groups of these ducks diving almost vertically from perhaps 5000 feet in the sky and the whistling of their wings was something to behold.
