DSC_5632 Fernbird ( Bowdleria punctata )

"Fernies" a favourite of mine, so endearing as they play cat n mouse with you among the fern and undergrowth that is their home. Popping up, then disappearing as quickly as they came fluttering their wings as they do.

Disappearing fast as predators and mans encroachment displaces them and their habitat.
