Tussilago farfara (Coltsfoot)
Coltsfoot colonising the dry end of the Slurry Lagoon, which coal slurry from Gedling Colliery was pumped into. The reed bed is advancing quite rapidly into this area from the wet end, but other plants are moving in from the other side with a bit of help of rabbits, whose latrines gradually build up little oases.
