Dumping Rock In Rochester
Back in June DM&E 4005 picked up a few rock cars from the old CGW spur that at one time went northwest out of Rochester to Pine Island and Zumbrota, MN. After the crew picked up the cars they headed off to the small yard in Rochester to dump the rock. The black CP dump war was leaking air so it couldn't have been dumped till it was repaired. DM&E 4005 then had to run around the train to dump from the other end. As the rocks got dumped a DM&E John Deere backhoe was used to move the rocks.
