Our last Group Intuition Away Weekend Nature Sacred Experience was from the Saturday 13th – Tuesday 16th June 2015 - www.intuitionwalks.com/ /&/ www.awakening-intuition.com/ - It was held at Gecko Creek Wilderness Lodge in the Cederberg located just 35km from Citrusdal / or 5 km of the N7 or 2h20min from / 210km Cape Town. The group size was 24 people, staying in a combination of 9 x Safari Style tents and wooden cottages with spectacular views
It was 4 day / 3 night away trip and soulful group get together starting on the Saturday and ending on the Tuesday. It was the first that we have had a 4 x day weekend away and was totally awesome
The highlights of the weekend were certainly the evening walk on the Saturday for then Star gazing and to tune into the sounds of nature and the Star gazing. On the Sunday we visited Wolfberg Cracks which is always one of my favourite experiences. On the way back stopped Bushman Paintings and Stadsaal Caves for sunset
On the Monday we visited Jamaca Farm just Past Algeria and did the Geelhoutskloof Hiking Trail and on the afternoon enjoyed a scenic drive along past the Clanwilliam dam which was also our lunch spot
On the Tuesday we explore Leopard rock and explored the sacred ancient site of the Khoisan.
Geeko Creek is also a popular venture in the past for retreats and other sacred consciousness workshops and weekends away. The scenic surroundings will provide an ideal space for relaxation and re-connecting within. Not to mention connecting with like-minded people who share similar soulful interests. Set on 517 hectares of private reserve, a 517 hectare private nature reserve that borders the 80,000 hectare Cederberg Reserve , it’s hardly surprising that Gecko Creek Lodge is Lonely Planet’s “pick of the Cederberg".
