Angel Oak
1500+ year old live oak tree, provides over 17,000 sq.ft. of shade. Its longest limb is 89 feet. Live Oak wood was a valuable commodity to the shipbuilding industry in the early colonies. Its almost a miracle this one was't cut down.
Angel is believed to be the oldest thing west of the Rockies.
