Southern White Rhino - Kenya

While the Northern White Rhino subspecies is effectively extinct now, the Southern subspecies is doing much better. They are currently considered "Near-Threatened" by the IUCN. This Rhino lives in a conservancy in Kenya and is well protected. The only thing that will completely ensure their future though, would be for the poaching of their horns to end.
