Second iteration of this rack, on my new old touring bike. For this one I tried a simpler tang bolted to the fork crown (the pulley and spacers are part of the brakes on this bike.) It's still awkward to get a wrench in. I guess I understand why Nitto et al. do the bolt as an integral part of the rack, though that still strikes me as gimpy.. In any case, that woudn't have worked here as the fork crown itself is threaded M6 on both sides.
