Heart outline made from burning matches. Taken for Macro Monday theme of heart. The image was taken with a Fuji XT2 on continuous high speed burst mode. The standard 18 - 55mm kit lens was used with a 16mm Fuji extension tube. A single studio flash fitted with a 150cm octobox was triggered during one of the exposures. The final image is a composite of a photograph taken with the flash, one for the optimum flames and a third for the smoke. All are from the same burst of photographs. No hearts were broken during the making of this image!
