The shoes that appear in my "Things Work Out" series represent our perpetual journey and how all we experience becomes part of who we are. In these pieces, I depict shoes not only because they are part of what takes us on our personal journey, but also because our shoes reveal a little bit about our individuality and the postmarks suggest different locations or travel. I started my "Things Work Out" mantra years ago with my children, it's about being positive and trusting. On Tuesday mornings, while drinking my coffee I send my husband and children a text that says "Happy 2sday!" Included in that text is one of my photos or artworks that include a 2 or the word two.
