Athletes compete in the Sitting Volleyball Prelims at the Cadet East Gym during the 2018 Department of Defense Warrior Games at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo. June 03, 2018. Athletes compete in different classifications based on functional abilities at a maximum, moderate or minimal level. Siting Volleyball was introduced at the Arnhem Paralympic Games in 1980. The Warrior Games are a Paralympic-style annual competition, established in 2010, to provide adaptive sports opportunities for wounded, ill and injured service members from all U.S. branches of service and this yea include teams fro the United Kingdom Armed Forces, Australian Defence Force and Canadian Armed Forces.
