Today I observed the most attractive little wild bee - metallic gold colors, long haired, green eyes. The plant is chamomile (Matricaria recutita) and I think the flower gives an idea of the size. As usual I have no idea of the species of this bee, but it was a pleasure to watch. A cool and windy spring afternoon.
