Volunteers

Some of last year’s sunflowers growing in a tomato field in Solano County. When a teenager visiting family in Nebraska my uncles would get my cousins and me and have us cut down corn volunteers out of sow bean fields with a corn knife. Not a fun day in hot humid weather.
