Un Lifer vraiment inattendu alors que j'étais sur le traversier pour me rendre de Victoria Île de Vancouver à Tsawwassen Sur la côte de la Colombie-Britannique. Le Cormoran pélagique qui était juché sur un des piliers d'amarrage du traversier. Je venais d'arriver sur le pont arrière du navire au troisième niveau lorsque j'ai aperçu ce magnifique oiseau aux reflets de couleurs incroyables. Heureusement, j'avais mon appareil avec moi et j'ai pris quelques photos malgré un soleil Ardant et pas à vraiment à mon avantage, mais pas question de louper ce magnifique Lifer.
Le voici donc dans une composition un peu désorganisée, mais quand même.

A truly unexpected lifer as I was on the ferry from Victoria, Vancouver Island to Tsawwassen on the BC coast. The Pelagic Cormorant that was perched on one of the ferry's mooring pillars. I had just arrived on the aft deck of the ship on the third level when I saw this magnificent bird with incredible reflections of colours. Fortunately for me, I had my camera with me and I took a few shots just before the boat left despite the fiery sun that was not really to my advantage at all, but there was no way I was going to miss this magnificent Lifer.
So here it is in a somewhat disorganized composition, but still.
