The Start of the March during the Trans Resistance Rally

File: 2025002-0354

Outside the Bristol City Council offices at Collage Green, Bristol, England, United Kingdom, on Saturday 26th April 2025.

About this photograph.

The Scottish Supreme Courts ruled that the definition of sex is biological sex at birth, and because of this, many transgenders all around the United Kingdom started a protest. I found out one was planned in Bristol, so I decided to drive there.

At around 10am, I arrived at College Green park where the Bristol City Council buildings are, and took photojournalism photos of the gathering crowd growing larger until about 11am, when they started their march into the central of the city.

This photo was taken near the crossing on College Green, next to Collage House building which includes the Tesco Express. This is where they would be leaving the College Green park and get onto the road, for their march into city centre.

It was shot in colour, I converted it into black and white while in Adobe Lightroom, and cropped it while in Adobe Photoshop.
