About the photograph.
This is the American actor and director, Jonathan Frakes. He was born on 19th August 1952, in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, United States of American.
Between 1977 to 1986, he had been in many television episodes, but he is most famous for his role as Commander William T Riker, in the 1987-1994 science fiction series Star Trek: The Next Generation, and the later movies.
In additional to his acting roles, Frakes also worked as a director with four movies, and various television episodes under his belt, including many Star Trek spin-offs.
Notice the wedding ring on his finger in the both photographs, he is married to the actress Genie Francis, their wedding too place in May 1988.
This close up photo of Frakes was taken with my Olympus Camedia C-3040Z, as I was the next customer and stepped forwards for my turn. At that moment, he had a phone call to deal with, politely looked at me with a facial expression that implied he apologised for making me wait. I held up my hand in more of a Don’t worry, it’s okay, gesture. It didn’t take him long, he just finished it, and got town to signing the autograph.
