Cullman High School provided their students with multiple opportunities to honor American veterans and increase their awareness of the sacrifices that veteran’s have made to protect our country and freedoms.

On Wednesday, over thirty veterans participated in the Annual CHS Veteran’s Day assembly. During the program each veteran was presented with an American flag and CHS Certificate of Appreciation for their service.

Cullman City Mayor Max Townsend greeted the veteran’s and three CHS students, read their selected essay in honor of our veterans past, present, and future.

On Friday students in social science classes were given the opportunity to participate in an awareness program provided by the North Alabama Vietnam Helicopter’s Pilots Association.
