The portal in the yard

While lying in the grass today,

I heard a voice say come and play

 

Look through the trees and you will see,

a portal to take you where you want to be.

 

Through the dragons eye today,

I drift off to dream and find my way.

 

A place where one can be worry free,

and dance all day with glee.

 

A green, surreal place to play.

In dreamland where the young at heart stay.
