The dam wear

Went here to get some lovely reflection shots of the autumn colours on the still waters of the reservoir but it wasn't to be. It was a bit windy at the top which meant the water was choppy and as the reservoir was full this made the water spill over the dam wall which made for some great shots. It was surprising how loud the falling water was also. Rather a privilege to see the water cascading over the top of the dam.
