60055 Queen Adelaide 11/10/23 - 6M89 0901 Middleton Towers to Ravenhead Sdgs

DCR livery 60055 drifts along the Fen Line at Queen Adelaide on Saturday 11th November 2023. The Class 60 locomotive hauls more sand from Middleton Towers, near Kings Lynn, to Ravenhead glassworks in St Helens. While I have visited this spot on several occasions for this popular working, the trees in the background always provide some welcome autumnal colour at this time of year.
