An already mucky BR green 66779 'Evening Star' rounds the curve near Lancasters Crossing, Stowmarket on the 26th September 2023. This week has heralded the start of the leaf spraying season in East Anglia, with the familiar sights of sets visiting all areas of the county. However, for 2023, we see a change in operator as GBRf take over from DRS. The once exciting mixture of traction has now been replaced with Class 66's based from Stowmarket. At least they have been kind enough to stick two celebrity liveries together, although give it a few weeks and you won't be able to tell!
