755336 clatters across Somerleyton Swing Bridge on a very warm 9th September 2023. I was fortunate enough to visit the Suffolk swing bridge and signal box this morning through the Wherry Lines Community Rail Partnership, which are running tours on three dates in September. The tour included a visit to the signal box and full access to the workings of the swing bridge, which dates back to 1905. Over 1000 applicants had applied for the tour, so I'm very happy to come away with this unique view of the Wherry Lines.
