With a promising forecast across the Fens (bright skies from mid morning onwards), a final trip for 2022 was planned on the winter solstice. Clearly the weather forecasters had already left for Christmas as heavy rain and cloud dominated the weather until nearly 3pm! Sunshine finally appeared here at Oldeamere with minutes to go before this working. However, the sun started dipping again at just the wrong moment, creating this heavily cropped version.
