Holtzapffel Figure-it-out puzzle

The answer to my Christmas quiz, earlier...

This brightly coloured (untitled) travel poster puzzle probably dates from the 1930s, as it's cut in a later style, and is similar to other travel posters on the Jigasaurus website.

There are 504 plywood pieces, and the puzzle measures about 24" x 24" at its widest. It was challenging to do without a guide picture - the brown splodge at the bottom centre was unexpected, for example.

This Figure-It-Out is less impressive than the astounding earlier and rare (1920s/30s) puzzles with their very intricate outlines and drop-outs, but nevertheless a great puzzle.
