Wonky house block

I made myself a kit at the same time I made all of the ones I sent out for the Bee and decided to make a block to make sure you had enough to do the blocks as I had requested. This block is 8.5 inches wide and 12.5 inches tall, and the top and bottom margins are a little narrower than what I had requested but I can work with that (the bottom edge is 3/4 inch below the grass on the lowest section). If you need to make your block a little bigger (if the house is too close to 12.5 inches without the grey margins), that's totally fine -- I can work with it. Just have it end on an exact inch or half-inch line when you trim it down.

My findings: there's enough to make ONE house, but probably not enough to make two unless you add some of your own fabrics. :) I didn't use everything in the kit, though.

If you would like for me to post a tutorial on how to make a house (the roof was a little mindbending, for example), let me know. I'm going to be creating tutorials for some of the quilting classes I've been teaching in the next few days so I can do another one while I'm at it. :)
